:yay:

We viewed the house today and oh my, It's perfect!
It used to be a shop a long time ago, but it's now a flat and a house put together and the owner is renting them both out separately. Nobody will be in the flat though so we're very welcome to ponder around it as there's an open entrance to it from our hallway. The house has two bedrooms which are absolutely HUGE! One of them is way too big for a baby's nursery so I think me and OH are going to have that one, and the one next to it is still huge but it's nice and cosy so it's ideal for Grace (won't be moving her in there straight away though).

The kitchen is big and it has a little office area too which will do great for Dan as he's starting open university soon. The living room is big and has gorgeous wooden flooring and the bathroom is lovely and spacious. Not one of the rooms is 'too small' so I'm really happy with it all.

It's also up for rent for just........ £60 a week  I absolutely cannot believe it, but the lady is the auntie of my mother in law so we're very very lucky.

We get the keys tomorrow! :D We've got a lot of basic furniture already, and tons of Grace's stuff in our parents houses so we shall have to move it all into the house this weekend.

I'm so happy and I feel like a proper family moving into our own house :D Will post photos of it once we're settled xxx

I'm so happy to be reading this!! What lovely news!! Awww enjoy every second of moving in and nesting and building your family home. Made up for you, petal!! Xxxx

Couldn't have done it without the help of my MIL and the lovely old lady who's giving it to us. She said she likes the look of us (she's had troublemaker youths living there in the past) and she'll be very glad to help us, we need more people like her in the world! My parents have been so helpful as well, they came to view the house with us and they're going to be helping us move in tomorrow. They just bought us some chairs as well :D xxx

This is the house from the outside, It's the grey one with the black door and the top rooms go over the flat downstairs, so the only part that isn't ours is that room you can see on the bottom of the white house. Our bedroom will be the one above that :D

Aww lovely :D made up for you! And gosh I wish my rent was that cheap lol xx

Mum and Dad said the same :D There house is £600 a month and it's absolutely tiny!
The house we're getting is in the middle of town as well so we're sorted for shops :) OH's work is closer as well (about 5 mins), compared to where we are now it's a 10 minute walk to his work xxx

thats lovely having everything at hand too! sounds perfect all roundxxx

Thats great :) sounds like you will be all set for graces arrival :) xx

Yay! :yay: congrats!

You are super lucky to bag that for £60 a week! You'll find that people are so helpful when you move in - you'll probably get loads of donated furniture :) x

Have moved in now (hence my inactivity here on the forum), things are slowly coming together.

All of Grace's stuff has been moved into her room too, apart from the moses basket as that's still in the shop!:

Looks awesome and great price, you are so lucky, I live on the 3rd floor in a council flat and pay much more :wall2:

Thanks girls.
Got our new microwave, toaster and plate sets today.
Now all we really need is a fridge freezer and a cooker.
I'm having MIL's washing machine and dryer soon too :D
