Fertility Appointment through........ Worried !!

I had my appointment through today, 23rd November. Just a couple of weeks away!!!

I am worried about what happens on my first appointment as my BMI is 31 and i know you have to have a BMI of lower than 29 !!!

Will they turn me away or will i still be able to have my lap and dye at this weight ??

Hi mushy, I can't advise on bmi isues i'm afraid but just wanted to say don't be worried about your appt, ours was pretty quick, they just ask you lots of questions about you and OH and go over the tests results you already have. I also had an internal scan which took a few mins, wasn't painful or anything. Let us know how you get on doll xxx

Just make a start on your weight loss now and then even if they do bring it up you can tell them how much you have already lost.

I don't think it will stop you having a lap and dye but it might be a sticking point for treatment depending on how strict they want to be

HI girls, My appointment is today and I have been so good over the last 2 weeks !! I weighed myself this morning and my BMI is now.......................... 29.7 !!!

App went ok, was shocked to find out we even have to pay for clomid treatment, knew we would have to pay for IVF and possibly IUI if we need it but for some reason I didnt realise Clomid treatment too !!! £390 for 3 months treatment !!! xx
So, they didnt even ask about my weight because obviously they arent bothered if im paying !!!
