Feeling your baby

I realised today just how clearly I can feel my baby in my tummy. I can feel his outline perfectly, his bum, back, legs and his head. Today Ive been feeling feet I know when he moves them and where each bit of him has moved to. He feels so HUGE Can everyone else feel there baby so well? It just never occured to me Id be able to really feel him so well....sorry if this is a thick post I have just woken up

Awwww-I can't wait to be able to do that all the time! I usually know which way my baby is laying and can sort of work it out but not really clearly. Last time I went to the midwife she explained certain parts and that helped me, I love it when a foot or something sticks out..I get so excitied! Can't wait for my LO to be even bigger!!

Yup I can feel ours in there. Head down since 28 weeks but I can feel the curve of the back, the legs and also the head, I sometimes miss the arms when prodding but they are down there somewhere.

I love seeing the legs and wow do they really kick out sideways sometimes The feet really do stand out don't they

The thing I find strange is the hiccups. Every day, sometimes twice a day which I know is normal but its the sensation of them. I can feel them way down there, usually on the right hand side.

O and one other thing, when I sit resting sometimes I can see part of my tummy rise and fall quite rapidly where LO is. Its little one 'breathing' or whatever it is our babies do in there. Its a really wonderful thing to see. Just an area of a few inches, depending on where LO is lying, but clear as day to see. I get a bit emotional seeing that happen.

I can generally feel certain bits like head and feet and bum. lol.
It's quite strange and i swear she was doing cartwheels last night!

i cant tell

my whole stomach is just rock hard and i can't tell which way hes lay or anything.
every time ive seen the midwife she asks which was hes lay before she checks and i never know

that's what i said to my OH. I tend to prod her a lot, i like to push my hand into my belly a little and feel her wriggle. Lol

i remember feeling my friends babys foot when he was cooking i think its so amazing!!

Yep, I can feel him properly inside, especially when he turns from side to side. I can also feel a leg stretch out towards my ribs, I normally poke it and he moves it back. So cute

He had a lovely dose of the hiccups earlier, he had them for ages bless him

i can tell where Colliers head is whe he pressing out
its so cool and incredably moving to be able to stoke my little Sons head

i can see when hes kicking and punching me as my bump moves up with force when hes doing both at the same time i giggle with delight


love the sensation and being able to see my son in this way

i have a definite bum which has been in the same place for several weeks now, and a hard foot that pokes me in the left side regularly through the day , you can see the lump coming out an inch or so i feel her arms going across my lower stomach aswell. She doesnt turn from side to side though i guess she has no room, she just wiggles her bum and kicks hands and feet

I can feel the back and bum, and LO usually rests his/her feet right up at the top of my bump and I can grab a heel sometimes.

i went to see midwife last week and when she had a poke about, she said the hard lump i keep getting poking out below my ribs is its bum!!

so now, every time i see the lump poke out, i say... ohhh i cant see your bum baby!!!

cant wait to see hands etc! altho i think itll be a bit freaky at first!

I had too much padding to start with! Not able to feel specific body parts, apart from the feet

I can feel my baby quite clearly- apart from the other day- she has been head down the whole time- her bum is either right up between my ribs or just off to the left and her back is on my LHS. I get to feel feet and hands over on my RHS and see little lumps appear when she stretches them out! Head can be felt but takes quite a bit of pressure to feel it.

I never had any idea, but I am quite chubby so maybe there was a good layer of fat stopping me from feeling him clearly! The midwife told me which way he was lying a couple of times but I had no idea - in the last week he turned to be back to back, and was for the beginning of my labour, and I didn't have a clue. So if I didn't even feel that big movement I suppose I had no chance of feeling hands or feet!
