Ive heard people letting their Lo's eat themselves which i do with Rosie when she wants to experiment with a spoon, but i recently got told i should let her use a fork?

She is 13 months, is this not a little too young for a fork or is it ok?

doodles uses a fork which i load up myself.I have some nice chunky plastic ones.Abi won't eat unless she feeds herself x

i ent out ith a friend and her little girl who as 13 months and she grabbed and started eating off an adult sized fork... now won't eat any other way and has her own :)

Oliver has his own fork and sometims has a paddy if he can't have a grown up one!!! But just go with the flow hun and do what is right for you both x x

Jack refuses to use a fork and is crap with a spoon he just uses his fingers

katie uses a fork, which i load up for her. she's on proper metal ones now, the plastic ones were too hard to stab things with! which i'm sure is the point, but not much use for potatoes and stuff

Niamh has a cutlery set, and she will feed herself but sometimes she gets so excited by the spoon and fork she will just scream and giggle at it for about 10minutes, and not eat anything
