~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I just had another HV round who was lovely! My little one now weighs 9lbs2oz, a whole lb more than her birth weight!
Im so relieved she's put on weight since her last weight check as it means that my breast feeding is going well! Well done boobs!

Yay babybee!!! That's great news hun so happy for you! how did her jab go?

My lo has been really unsettled last few evenings and then filling her nappy right before bed so much that we've had to bath her again straight after! Got a letter today for her first injections eek can't believe she's having her jabs! Cant believe she's a month old tomorrow! I'm feeling more comfortable with the mum thing now; my lo is settled at night and we go out everyday too which she loves. Also booked our first family holiday for July yay and a night away just us 2 in April can't wait!

welcome claire xx :)
well all be swapping stories soon jus like our march babies thread xx

sent from my snazzy new Galaxy S3 xxx

OH & I went shopping with Jack & Harry this morning! I was so excited because I finally got to use my double buggy! Both boys fell asleep after lunch so they must have enjoyed the ride! We had to spend a small fortune buying a few tiny baby outfits for Harry because he has all of Jack's old bits to wear and he gets lost even in newborn size! We saw the Midwife yesterday morning and she is more than happy with him so isn't back until Thursday for his heel prick test so all in all a good first few days of being a foursome! :) x

Waw babybee good old jungle juice as my husband calls it!! Looking forward to weighing my bub tomorrow. HV cancelled today now coming tomorrow. Oh and I tried infacol twice today and I swear she's sick more!!
And hi Claire!! Xxx

We used Infacol with Jack to help him bring up his mucous at birth and it worked wonders. We tried it with Harry and it makes his belly rumble like thunder and makes him throw up! x

Thanks for sharing my joy at my functioning boobs everyone :) thats why i love this forum!

I've started using infacol now. Fingers crossed it works. We didn't have the jab done today as it was appointment based and for some dumb reason I thought I could just turn up! So were getting it done on Friday.

Diane, so glad that you're feeling more comfortable with everything now :) I feel the same, my confidence is growing now.

HL28 - jungle juice! That made me laugh!

So exciting more mums are making their way over to this thread!!!

I'm taking my girl to my favourite shopping centre tomorrow. Her granny wants to get her a present and I need new mascara! Fingers crossed she doesn't scream the place down.

Xxx

Yay for your boobs Hun, mine are working better too!!!!

Quick update for those who haven't seen it, Nicky is in labour! X

I think I'm having my first period :-( exactly 27 days after having her, just like my cycle was before! Kinda sad about it tbh lol x

On the futon in mum and dads spare room, not sure how well ill sleep on here (plus with being on labour watch for Nicky makes it too exciting to sleep!) but oh well, best try!!! Little man is in his travel cot at side of me, he looks so bloody small (ill get pictures in the morning) in there!
Had a good boobie day today (yesterday) lets hope it continues!

Oh Diane, in so dreading that too!!

Nicky! Hopefully next time you're logged on you'll have your little girl!

Sassy, we have a travel cot too and she looks teeny in it too!

We had another successful night sleep! Off for a cheeky nap before she wakes up again!xxx

Just had munchkin weighed. 8lb 7!! Was last weighed and back to her birth weight of 7lb 12oz 9 days ago! What a chunky monkey.

Hope u guys are all ok xxx

Morning everyone

Just popping in quickly to catch up while my little man has a snooze. Things are good here, I just need to hurry up and recover. I've got to call the Dr's this morning for some more antibiotics as I'm still suffering. Blake was weighed at the weekend and he is up to 9lbs! I'm not surprised though as the lil piggy can sometimes put away 6oz in one feed.

Sassy- I hope a little break away from numnuts helps to increase your supply. I have massive respect for you expressing at all hours- I just couldn't manage it.

Babybee- Hope the infacol works for you. We noticed an improvement with Blake from the first feed.

HL28- Yay for weight gain :yay:

I'd best go and check out Nicky's labour thread.... :good:

I'm so upset my little girl has oral thrush :-( I feel like it's my fault, even tho hv said it's just one of those things but I feel dirty and to blame :-( she has some drops now. I feel a failure as a mum, my daughter is only a month old and already has had eye drops, a terrible cough/cold and oral thrush !! What am I doing wrong :-( feeling very low today. She also weighs 9lb3 now so put on 3lbs in a week which I'm pleased with.

Mine have had oral thrush don't worry hun!! It doesn't mean it anything to do with u. Babies and kids are prone to it. And it's a rubbish time of year in terms of coughs and colds it's just unavoidable hun. And unfortunately it's just non stop when there are children. It's building their immune system!! Don't feel bad Diane xxx
