Extending my maternity leave...

    I am coming to the end of my 6 months maternity leave from work and want to extend it to 9 months... just wondering what advice you can give on how exactly I need to tell them and when...

    also, if this is actually possible? lol. Maybe should have asked that first!

    Ordinary Maternity Leave is paid for 9 months if your LO was born after 1st April 2007...

    You can take Additional Maternity Leave of 3 months, but its unpaid.
