Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone knows of any guidelines regarding exercise whilst TTC and during the early prenancy stages? I go to the gym maybe 3 times a week but am not obsessive about it, just trying to lose a bit of weight - does this lessen your chances of ttc? Lucy
I can't honestly answer about the exercise part...but I did read in a local newspaper that if a women were to lose 5% of her weight (in most cases that is usually not much) she has a greater chance (up to 35%) of conceiving. I am not sure how true that is, but that is what I read. That really upsets me because I have done nothing but gain weight in the last three months!!!! My nerves have been such a wreck I comfort myself with food. Shame on me.
