EWCM - is this a silly question??

    I have read somewhere that you can use actual egg whites when BDing in order to improve conception chances if you don't have much EWCM at your fertile time - is this true or just an old wives tale???

    Julia it's true!

    I know it sounds a bit YUCK, but egg whites have the same consistency as the most fertile cervical fluid, therefore creating the perfect medium to transport sperm to it's destination.

    Its proberbly a bit messy, but if it works, who cares!

    Thanks for the reply Rachael....my husband would probably think I was mad if I tried it....anyway - no eggs in fridge!!

    EEEEWWWW!!!!

    After a week it would smell like rotten egg!!!!!! TMI!!

    Also what about Salmonella!!!!

    :lol: Hee hee you lot are mad!

    Personally I don't think sperm is all that nice either, so a bit of egg white wouldn't have bothered me that much....Fortunately we got there without it! :) - It took us 5 years, 3 miscarriages and one failed IVF though!
