DD and I have been slowly making our way through the Harry Potter books (we are on order of the phoenix atm)..
well Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire the movie was on TV today, and DD is currently sitting on the sofa tutting away because "that's not what happened in the book"... "they haven't put that bit in"... "that's not what happened"...
Now I have the very difficult task of explaining the eternal truth behind why the movies are never like the books...
The last time I did this was explaining why it is ok to lie to people sometimes... i.e. No mummy your bum doesn't look big in that..
How many other eternal truths do I need to explain... ???
