Day 3 since giving birth and my boobs are terrily sore engorged. I am bottle feeding and hoping that it will dry up fairly quick as I am currently soaking breastpads every half hour.

Hw long should i expect the overproduction for

Sorry you're in pain hun, I can't really help as I was bfing for first 6 weeks with both my boys. Hopefully it won't last too long, would you consider expressing it would help with the engorgement xx

I second expressing! I wanted to breastfeed my daughter but she couldn't latch and we ended up bottle feeding.. I used to pump and freeze my milk and give that to her for as long as I could.. Still remember the relief I felt those first few pumps! You can pick up a manual pump quite cheaply xx

I have been prescribed Cabergoline tablets to stop lactation. Has anyone tried these before?
