Do I ever!!!

My house is still in a complete wreck because of those floods!!

We are waiting for the kitchen floor to be ripped up because all the floorboards need replacing and they have all gone black, we need a new kitchen, new bathroom and the whole house is a tip!!! The insurance company are dragging there heels and I'm beginning to lose my patience with them now.
We might even have to move out when they eventually start the work!!

I'll post pics when I can find them on laptop.

Very exciting getting a thread with my name though!!!

we got some damage to the dining room floor so we think we wever very lucky really.

I know we are luckier than some people. There are people just down the road having to live in static caravans and will more than likely be spending Christmas in them. At the least we will be in our own home.

I'm panicking now though that it won't be ready for baby arriving!!

One good thing about the floods was the firemen delivering sandbags
I was first in the queue.

we didn't get any sandbags, we had to take all our stuff upstairs

We live in a Dormer bungalow so all our rooms are downstairs apart from two upstairs bedrooms
