And I built it all by myself (almost)... not had a chance to let L have a go in it yet but I think he's a little bit short for it... anyone else got one? When did you start using it? How did you overcome having a short baby?

AA batteries are charging... eeek :)

Just to add, I ordered it from kiddicare, their delivery service is amazing. If anyone hasn't ordered from them before I would recommend them! I got email with the tracking number when I placed the order then today while I was waiting for delivery (they give an hour time slot btw) I was able to see where the delivery driver was, what number drop mine was and what number drop he was on and how long he was going to be (and what his name was!)... amazing!

We love kiddicare too! Fantastic service!

Hope your LO enjoys the jumperoo! Jules loves hers! We started using it just around 4 months. If their toes don't touch the floor, just pop a cushion or something underneath til they do!

Thank you everyone :) ... I couldn't really afford it but I'm struggling to cope with him crying all day when he lies down on his mat. Hope I haven't got too high expectations on this being a miracle when he might actually hate it!

He bounced for the first time in his door bouncer today (proper PMM) and he had a massive smile on his face!

Just waiting for him to wake up! Xxxxx

Emilou, Luca is going to love it!

I love Kiddicare too. A new one has just opened in Enfield and I could happily spend a morning there!x

I ordered it after your recommendations babybee :) then realised it was going to be massive but thought sod it lol.

The nearest one to me is Peterborough which is around an hour away but sometimes it's nice to go for a look xxxx

I hope you love it as much as I do (and Luca too)! It's a god send!x

I put Cay in his at about 4 months(?).

As long as LO has a good strong neck, it'll be fine.

We put a pillow under ours as Cay was a bit short, and at first he mostly just kinda sat in it looking confused.

After about a week we more or less had to stop him catapulting himself out the window!
I'd say from about 5 months he really started noticing the bits around it, especially loving the spinny thing with the blue lizard-thing in it.

Hope it goes down well :) xx

Ethan started using his at 3.5 months with a cushion under his feet as he was too short! At first he didn't have a clue what to do lol but it didn't take him long to figure it out. He stopped using it at 8 months as he started crawling/cruising etc and lost interest (& hated being kept in one place!). So we've sold it now and I've got my lounge back!! Xx

We have one Of these I think our lo started using it at 4 months and absolutely loves it. Keeps her occupied for ages! Xx

He enjoyed it for about 10 minutes then started crying lol. Ah well. That's 10 minutes extra I can keep him occupied a day! Ooh he must be taller than I thought as his tippie toes touch the floor xxxx

Oh no! I hope he comes to love it. Xx

Me too, otherwise it was a bit of an expensive ornament ha :p xxxxx

Don't worry Mia only used to last five mins before crying, she eventually enjoyed it and started bouncing! Tbh the phase was short lived tho and its in the loft waiting for a baby brother or sister one day :)

I can't wait to get the jumperoo back out! Not only will it save me some cupboards space (had it in storage for about 8 months lol!), but it's so much fun to watch them jump about in it!!! We got ours when Harrison was about 4/5 months old, and he just say could reach the floor with his toes on the lowest setting. Never stopped him going mad in it though lol. Enjoy! :)

XxX

He bounces with his toes curled, so he's bouncing on the top of his toes rather than the tip of his toes! Is that normal? I tried straightening his toes and 'showing' him what to do but his little toes were so stiff lol xxxxx

Jules still does it sometimes with her toes curled! X x
