Eczema

I have just started to get a rash on my belly, been to the docs he said it's eczema, has anyone else suffered with this and if so what did they find that helps?

I have been given some mild steroid cream but can only use this for a week, been using it for 3 days and it's not really making any difference.

Would using baby lotion or oil help to keep the moisture in do you think?

When my son had eczema as a baby we used a cream called "Emulsiderm" on him. I don't think it was a steroid. Also I know you can buy something to put in your bath ... Oilatum I think it's called... that might help lubricate your skin and it's not harmful as far as I know. I used it when I had dermatitis last year.

Failing these two how about using E45. It's gentle and might give you some relief.

When I get ezcema or dermatitis, I find that slapping on some Vaseline always helps.

Keep going with your steroid cream, it wqill work eventually

Your lucky to have steriod cream, i got my eczema back after i had my son and they wont even give it to me!
