Ectopic and Hcg levels

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows how long Hcg takes to leave the body.
I had my tube removed along with my pregnancy and the hospital didn't really give me much advice.
Have any of you ladies that have had an ectopic know when your hormones went back to normal?

I don't have much experience but I would think it depends how far along the pregnancy was (the more hcg etc). Personally I would test every week until it goes negative. Or you could ask your GP to do blood tests to make sure the levels are lowering st the correct rate.

I'm sorry for your loss. With my first mc I had blood tests until my levels were back to normal and then they discharged me. Can you ask for some follow up blood results from your GP or EPU?
