Ebay question

I put a bid on a car and all great we was guna get it and then realised that it had no mot and we cant go and get it tomorrow now and drivr it home minus mot

I did email the seller about 3 hours ago and asked him too retract my bid and explained why he was fine about it and just looked and ive won the car so no bid retraction.

What do i do?

I would email him/her and say they must of forgot to retract your bid. If they come back with "oh but you won and committed to the buy" if it gets stupid and they say they will report if you dont pay just send ebay the email you sent asking them to retract and the reply saying that he would. Should be okay.

The main problem is that the seller will now be out their fees. If you can get him to mutually agree not to continue with sale then that's the best option and seller will get their fees back. Unfortunately not all sellers check their emails regularly.

I'm sure you can retract a bid yourself

Did that but didnt work because the bid was more then 6 hours old.

He invoiced me today and if he wants to play silly buggers, i have the emails.
