Hi all, I am having an early scan tomorrow following brown spotting and slight cramps on Wednesday. I am a nervous wreck. I'm finding it difficult not being able to talk to anyone about the stress of it all (except the other half, who is as clueless as I am!).

Today I have a massive headache and woke up with slight pain in my lower tum.

I know, this is not the most positive of first posts but I just wanted to vent somewhere!

Hope all goes ok with ur scan hun, I'm sure it will be fine.

Are the nhs doing it or u gone private? Xxx

Hey hun. I'm.sure that cramps and spotting are fairly common early on. Try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). You'll see your bub soon at your scan.

Take care Xxxx

Good luck for scan hun. I had cramps and spotting round that time and all was fine xxxx

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. This time tomorrow I'll be at the hospital, eek. I truly hope my little bean is okay... maybe this horrible headache will ease when I know for sure.

Keep us updated hun and good luck xxx

Good luck! I had spotting and cramps this week and had a scan this morning at the EPU and it turns out all is well. Bleeding doesn't have to be a bad sign, try and relax which I know is really hard, but fingers crossed for you :) xxx

Thanks everyone. I have a 'code brown' situation again :-( Can't wait for this time tomorrow.

Please try to think positively. I think you know deep down if you have a problem. I had an ectopic pregnancy confirmed at 7 weeks and was rushed in for emergency surgery. I had dark brown bleeding along with cramps mainly on the left side. I felt sick, dizzy and generally awful. I am sure you will be ok. It is our instinct to worry until we drive ourselves crazy.
Keep strong!

I was going to reply, then I realised this was from March last year!
