I lost a chunk of dark blood at lunchtime & since about 5.30pm I've been contracting - lasting between 30 seconds and a minute, 5-10 minutes apart. My iPad app stats say average of 40 seconds every 6.5 minutes.

My question is...is this too soon for a bath? Could that slow them down? The pain is fine - I just fancy a bath, but don't want to slow anything down

Id have a bath hun..
My hosp like us to call when they are about 40-60seconds every 5mins and we r able to go in to get checked. So u could be a gd few cms already!
Might be ideal to call hosp now to see when they advise to come in.. Atleast ull no if u can squeeze in a bath xxx

Really?! Wow! I'm booked in for a home birth so I'll give them a quick call & see what they say! Thank you!

MW shoul let u know when she thinks its best for her to leave to get to u :)
