Oooh, it really is exciting. This will be my first. What about you?
At the moment I just have very tender boobs (and when I say very...I mean it! Hurts when I take my bra off and when going over speed bumps in the car!) No other symptoms except slight bloating.
We did our test late last night...two deep pink, thick lines! We really couldn't believe it, rushed out to buy another one...a digital one...one that would actually say the words PREGNANT or NOT. I was positively beaming.
My husband and I had been trying for about 5 years and recently received funding for IVF. They thought that ICSI would be the option for us. A month ago we picked up our injections and had our last consultation before our planned September start date. We were simply waiting for my next period. I'm always between 2 and 8 days late as I have really irregular periods and only did a test to put my mind at ease before starting treatment.
We are still in shock as we seriously did not think that we would fall naturally. We have an appointment with doctor on Tuesday to double check everything and to get a more accurate date as my period cycle can range between 29 and 38 days.
Oh congratulations Sampoppet , reading your story of TTC, that makes it even more special, what a surprise!! - enjoy Trimester 1, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy
Sampoppet, that's absolutely lovely what a brilliant way 2 find out, a nice wee surprise mine came as a shock too and I was petrified at first but now I can't wait. I have a very bloated belly and serious wind along with it lol. I'm constantly hungry and find myself needing about 10 hours sleep each night 2 feel right. Boobs were starting to swell slightly but sadly seem to have stopped for now lol. Its my 1st too, was going to wait a few years before trying xx
I am also hungry, inbetween washing machine belly! and sooo tired! was in bed complaining that neighbours were so loud late at night *shakesfist* when my OH pointed out it was only 9pm lol
Hi steph! Congratulations haha kayelle I'm the same, complaining about the noisy kids playing outside "at this time" when really it's only early evening and I will soon have my own noisier one in the house keeping me up at all hours lol. Can't wait though, just fingers crossed everything runs smoothly. I'm trying to stop myself nervously posting about my symptoms and frantically looking up all sorts as I'm turning into a nervous wreck lol xx
Found out this afternoon and think i'm due the 8th May.
I lost my first baby this time last year - there was no heartbeat at the scan and its been hard and emotional journey since then. As soon as we stop 'trying' I get my BFP.
I'm excited but also anxious - trying to stay positive.
Congratulations to everyone else in the thread - hope we all have very smooth 9 months!
