Hi Girls,

My son will be 14ish months when my new baby will be born and I will need a double buggy. I'm completely niave about them!!! I think a tandem must be easier in shops etc?? I have a car so wont need to worry about public transport, its a ford focus so a medium sized boot.

I really fance the iCandy Pear, but its quite expensive and i'd want the maxi-cosy carrycot as well so it will be over £500 in total. Is it worth it? I like it cus both babies can face me.

What doubles/Tandems do you recommend?

We are getting the Phil&Ted Vibe. It's a lot of money but I think it will be worth it because it easily changes to a single too as Brody will be (just) 2 when this one's born so we can use it as a single once he's walking a bit further!
The i-Candy does this too as far as I know

Just been looking the icandy pear up online - frustrating that you can't buy it online and have to get it in the shop as it means you can't even see how much it would be without ringing up about it

Looks great for what we need - my son will be just turned 2 when the new baby arrives so although he will be walking well by then, he will need somewhere to rest when he gets tired. Considering a buggyboard but I don't know if he will keep his arse still!

This is exactly what I was thinking! Brody turns 2, 2 weeks before this one is due and I know with a buggy board he will be on, off, on, off
