Double pushchairs - would you bother?

I did have a tandem double pushchair but I sold it because with Nathan in the front it was heavy to get up and down kerbs and on and off the train etc

I was thinking about getting a side by side pushchair to use but don't know if it is really worth bothering with one of these because of Nathans age I have got a buggy board (haven't used it yet though so don't know what Nathans like with it) and I've got a sling for Kieran so im just wondring if it was you would you get the side by side double or just use the sling/buggy board with a single pushchair?

Also, are side by side pushchairs awkward when trying to get into shops etc?

i think i would prob put kieran in the sling and nathan in the buggy :d

We've decided not to bother getting a double buggy, and going to be putting baby in a sling until she's about 4months, then will consider if we need a double buggy or not, which will be dependant on how much we use one with Isaac at the time
