how many times should you use a doppler per day? ive heard it can cause the baby distress?! i just got mine today and have already used it about five times.. i love it! but now im sorta worried.. ? xxx

I am not 100% sure to be honest, I know you are not meant to use them for more than a few minutes at a time though - think somebody on here told me it can irritate babies ears?

I haven't used mine much since I started getting kicks but before that I used it once or twice a week for 5 mins

I wouldn't worry too much, maybe just try to use it a max of once a day? xx

thanks! ive only used it about three times (over exaggerated when i said five lol) and i didnt use it for long, only a couple of seconds probably! xxx

Research is still being done into repeated use of and exposure to ultrasound. Ultrasound itself is generally safe though. I've not heard of it causing baby distress.
