i ended up tellin work today about the appointment, cause it clases with work.
didnt really want to but hey ho. well they knew about about my misscarriage last and were really good. so i suppose its good that its out in the open for future appointments.
i was dead excited wen we got referred, hubby told his mum about it cause we are both made up the ball is rollin. then mil went and told sil, feel like they have been talkin about us now. were not piggin gossip!!!
hubbys brother goes well maybe ur tryin too hard, think if they had been tryin for 3 and half years they would be doin the same as us. then again they get caught within 2months. i hate people sayin it will happen 1 day or ur tryin too hard, they jus dnt know the half it do they!!!
glad iv got u lot, think i woulda gone mad by now if it wont for u lot.

Hi, im totally regrettin tellin people at work(altho they are fab and friends aswell as work mates)that we are ttc now its taking a long time i feel like they are all talking about it and im getting all the advice i dont need lol. Tbh i think people want to help and b supportive but they dont really know what to say.

it was my manager who i told jus cause my shift clashes with the appointment. only a couple people kno in work, its girls really were i work so u hav to be carefull who u tell. u kno how girls can be bitchy.
i kno wat u mean about advice u dont need, maybe they think there being helpfull but there bloody well NOT!! does every1 kno in ur work now?

I told my line manager at the point that we got referred as I knew we'd need a fair amount of time out. She's been fantastic, but I wouldn't have told my old line manager as he'd have been a nightmare though

I cant describe how much I regretted telling the know it all girls at work that me & my OH were trying ttc... My goodness there is one lady who asks constantly & i'm not the type of person to say mind your own business but sometimes I really want to.. Some of the things they come out with at the most inappropriate times... Anyway enough of my ranting.. Hope all works out for you lovely xx

its the all things about girls aint sometimes they jus wat the lastest 'gossip' even though its not gossip. sometimes i regret tellin people we've told but whats done is done hey.

I told one girl recently that we are ntnp even though we've been trying for ages! Probably won't tell anyone else if I can help it, I just find it...embarrassing - not sure if that's the right word? I'm just not comfortable because it's so personal and emotive.

Totally agree with your frustration ab11 - hate it when people have too much to say! Tbh though, they say stupid things that upset you even when they don't know you're trying so it doesn't make much difference!

This is 17th cycle. 28 days pos opk on 13 or 14 like clockwork. We have some problems with scheduling BD because OH works long shifts and our schedules don't always meet. I've only just plucked up the courage to start having things investigated so I'm sure I'll know more soon. Good luck with your journey hun xx

I haven't told work. We've been lucky so far that no appointments have clashed with work.
I have my HSG next week that unfortunately lands on a work day, told the girls at work I have an appointment (we all have to run out occasionally) and I'm going to go in asap afterwards. I feel quite guilty as I'm really close to the girls at work but I dont think I'd be able to chat about our troubles etc, work is my break away from ttc. x

I have told a few people I work with, I work full time Monday-Friday so obviously appointments are always in work time, and it was getting to the point it was just awkward with me going all the time, some of them were worried I was seriously ill. We are only a small team and they are lovely and I felt loads better after telling them actually (there is one guy so haven't gone into details with him hehe). I know that if they weren't as lovely I definitely would have kept it to myself though. As it is, they all totally understand and are more than willing to cover for me now they know whats going on. I guess it just depends on the people, same as with telling friends. I agree about the advice thing though, people are trying to be helpful but end up saying what you don't want to hear!! Hope you're doing ok ab xxx

since i got told in october i had to wait til feb to be refered i kinda pushed it to the back of my mind but now its all i can think about. arghhhhh!!!!!!! even at night wen im tryin to get to sleep i wanna switch of but i cant. think im goin mad lol. jus got so many things goin round my head. gonna hav to try n put to the back of my mind again some how eh

One girl I work with knows everything but so far I've managed to get away with dentists / Dr's etc (and using annual leave!) for my appointments with RMC this year.

I only took one day off sick during my actual m/c's!!! I took a few half day holiday's for scans, Dr's appointments etc but oddly each m/c occured over a weekend???

Of course I could have had more time off had I wanted / needed [and I still wouldn't have had to dilvulge the real reason] but I found work a healthy distraction for me...

Family and most of my friends do not know we're TTC and under a specialist either...
