Does this count as day 1?

Hi, I really should know this stuff by now...! I have cramps and I would say bleeding is heavier than spotting but not full flow and still a light brown colour....would you count this as day 1? Xx

I call day one the first day of bright red blood.

I usually count whenever full flow (bright red) starts as cd1 but if it’s late afternoon/evening I’ll count the next day as cd1 xx

As soon as you see bright red blood as that’s when it’s fresh.
