Does stress cause braxton hicks?

Not 100% sure it's bh, Im not sure what they are but when I get stressed usually over my puppy playing up I feel my stomach go hard and makes me feel a little icky when it happens. Does it sound like bh?? X

That's what happens to me too. I thought it was BH.

Yup, when my husband and I shout at each other my stomach goes rock hard for about 20 mins! It's BH.

I wasnt sure as I thought bh normally lasted couple mins but it seems to take a good 10-15 mins to stop and for me to really calm down. Doesn't help when you have heart burn at same time lol! The slightest thing sets them off at the mo tho!

that is why they say lots of stress can cause early labour, and apparently the BH start softening your cervix which could be why early labour then happens, so ive been told to try and calm myself down- pretty hard when you have an anxiety disorder lol
