I was just wondering if what you eat while carrying affect what babies eat later on?

The reason i ask is this time last year i was about 6 months pregnant. I was also eating around 4 bags of satsumas or oranges a week!!! That's an awful lot! Lol

Well this time again i eat them a lot! (I think they're best this time of year) I've started letting Angel try them. The second the first bit is in her mouth she sucks the insides out and is ready for the next! I've just eaten 4 satsumas and she has had her fair share of each! She loves everything i do! Down to cups of tea.

I just wondered if this has been brought on by me eating so many during pregnancy?

nope i dont think so hun, i was eating bags and bags of oranges a day while pregnant yet thomas cant stand them will spit them out
maybe shes just a fan like her mum
xx

Funnily enough I was addicted to eating sponges during pregnancy and the first thing Evie does in the bath is chew the sponge!

It makes me laugh but I don't really think there is any connection! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
(although I might change my mind if she starts sniffing Windowlene too!)

research shows that what you eat flavours the amniotic fluid, and also your breastmilk which helps baby learn about new flavours and be more open to new tastes :)

I ate a bag od satsumas a day this time last year and Ella will happily sit and eat a whole satsuma, she chews a piece once or twice and it is gone! I read the Child of our time book when preg and it said that flavours do get through so maybe that is why they love them! On the other hand, Ella loves eggs and chicken and I haven't eaten either for years!!
