Does anyone still occasionally have "period" type

Hi girls,

I am 29 weeks pregnant and have started having (over the last week or so) period type aching pains in my belly (lower down). Is this what they call Braxton Hicks? Is it a sign of stretching? OR is it a sign of going into a very slow and very early labour? (I hope not!).... Although getting a little uncomfortable and having lots of facial spots (!), I feel fine!

Hi Julia,

From now on the baby has growth spurts so it will be ligaments stretching.

You will get period type pains towards the end of pregnancy 36 wks+ as it is your cervix softening and getting ready but at the mo the achy pains will be baby growing.
