seeing as all your advice on stepchildren was so good on the other thread 
My stepchildren are 33 (same as me ), 27 and 25 - unfortunately they act 3, 7 and 5 
We have had nothing to do with the 33 yr old woman for years now, but we do with the 2 men.
They are obviously aware that their father can't have any more children - but they are in the group of "we'll tell them after the fact what we're doing" - all my family know now - but they are far more understanding - and also don't hate me which is an advantage
I have the feeling that when I finally get my bfp - they will (based on previous experience) throw a strop and tell everyone I probably got preg when I was having an affair and as their father is so besotted with me he's just being taken for a ride (besotted - yeah right - tell me that when I'm asking him to turn footie off
)
so should we tell them in advance - they won't find out by accident - they have nothing to do with my family - or should we wait on the basis that it may never happen
