my SMP back if I decide not to return back to work? I do want to go back to work but not to the company I work for. Im due to go back in July but the though of having to go back to that company sickens me. Can I write to them in say may/june to say I wont be returning? Ive searched the net but cant really seem to find a straight answer?!

You don't have to pay basic SMP but if you get occupational maternity pay you will prob be expected to pay that back unless you return for a specified amount of time, (it's 3months in the NHS).

I looked into this as I hated my job, if you only get amp you don't have to worry about going back to your stinky job Yey maybe wait until the last min you have decide, might be a month x

I know they wont let me go part time anyway and there is no way on earth im going back full time! haha
