Do I have the operation??

Ok so I'm booked in for a small operation on the 13th Jan (yes Friday 13th!!), under general anaesthetic. I think I ovulated yesterday & had a slight temp rise this morning, hopefully will rise more 2moro 2confirm ovulation. We've been b'dding alot around ovulation so I'm really hoping for my bfp this month. However I'm really worried about having my op incase I do catch on as it will probably be too early to tell wen my op is due.

I really don't know what to do, I'll do a pg test the day before 2check but even if it's neg it cud just mean its 2early to show. How early can u get a pos pg test after ovulation?

Hi hon - I suppose it depends how much you want the op really. I think the day before 13th would be too early for pg test - I think the earliest is 10dpo, but often that would be too early to tell. Is it something you could re-arrange? x

If you are concerned the hospital can do a test via blood that will deffo tell if your ok or not, I've had it done a couple of times, the hcg will show in your blood before your urine.

It's not an op that's desperate so it can wait, but I have been waiting for my appointment for 4 months now. Don't want to cancel it incase I don't catch on this month as I'm just delaying it even more.

That's a good idea sparkles I think I will ask the question on the day if they'll do a blood test.
