Not been feeling too great today, had some tummy pain that felt like trapped wind but just went to the loo & I have diarrhea. I'm 18 weeks & worried I might have eaten something dodgy although my OH is fine, I'm just panicking baby might be sick too. What do u think?

On another note I feel a bit down, when I should be happy & excited. I've waited so long for this & I feel like I'm missing out on being excited. I think it's because I think something's going to go wrong which I know is stupid but I can't shake this gloomy cloud. Anyone else feel like this?

Baby will be fine hun, just keep up your fluid intake. Baby will get all they need, just you will feel rough

I'm sure it's a self preservation thing with your emotions, it's quite common Hun. Can't believe you're 18 weeks!! :faint: x

I think it's normal at this stage to feel a bit weird, it's sort of an inbetweeny stage-waiting for next scan, waiting for a proper bump, waiting for proper movements! I have been feeling a bit in limbo but starting to feel better now baby is moving lots.

As for the diarrhoea, keep an eye on it, and if it continues for too long and you can't keep any food in I would speak to your gp/midwife.

Hey hun. Hope you're feeling better: I'm sure your baby will be fine. I know how you feel about being a bit gloomy, though. It's that awful wait until the next scan... I don't know what to do with myself, and I'm only feeling a few tiny movements so far, so I'm worried too. Especially with Tee's awful news yesterday...

Just because you really wanted the baby doesn't mean you can't feel bad sometimes. It's hormonal!

You're due just two days after me. When's your scan?

I feel a but better thanks but worrying still, even more so after Tees news which is just aweful.
I have a check up on Thurs so hearing HB will help & then we have the scan on 3rd Feb.
    When's yours Karen?

I think the worrying never stops  My husband keeps reassuring me that everything's OK, and that I'm just scaring myself by reading these forums, but I can't help it, especially because I am not feeling any definite movement yet.

Good luck with your appointment on Thursday. I wish I could hear the heartbeat again, it's so amazing. My scan is on 1st Feb. Can't wait! xx
