Does anyone ttc have a partner that that takes medication for blood pressure.? I have discovered that the 'calcium channel blocker' ones cause problems with sperm and impairing the ability to penetrate an egg.

Has anyone managed to successfully get pregnant whilst partner on blood pressure medication. Am awaiting to see GP to discuss but she was unsure during a quick telephone call as most men on blood pressure tablets are usually over the age and already have a family.

Have 2 children already together. I am 42 and he is 51 already have age against us ttc.

Can you not got the GP to sort out a Semen Analysis? Sounds like he'd be within his rights to request one.
