It is quite normal to have emotional ups and downs in pregnancy, it's due to the ever changing hormones and all the other things that are happening to your body.

Today I've cried and I have no idea why as I've had a good week but I just couldn't help it.

The thing to be careful about is whether you're just having the normal ups and downs or if you really are getting depressed. It is known that as well as post natal depression you can get depression during your pregnancy, so if you don't perk up after a few days I'd speak to your doc/midwife about it.
