not sure I belong in here yet, but pre pregnancy my cycles were always 30-33 days. Without fail. And my luteal phase was 14 days

i have had a few periods since giving birth, and to start with they were around 31-32 days. Perfect i though!

however, last month I ovulated on CD19, and then AF arrived on CD29.

this month I am on CD20 and have still not ovulated?

i always used to ovulate around CD16 before I got pregnant.

We were lucky in that we fell pregnant first proper attempt last time. I am worrying it wont be so easy this time (I am 36 and have PCOS)

we are officially TTC again late Oct/Nov time.

has this happened to anyone else? did you go on to get pregnant fairly easily again?

I don't have PCOS but have other medical issues!!

My periods have been haywire since this really hot weather started!!

Perhaps a visit to the docs ?

I am going to wait and see what happens this month and then go to doc. I got a +opk today finally.

Just hope my luteal phase hasn't now dropped to 9 days x

Hi Lynds!!

How are u and little Freya keeping? I'm rarely on here now since having my baby. Just logged in for some support and I see a familiar forum buddy :)

Hubby and I knew all along that we wanted 2 babies as close together as possible but I'm finding my cycles are all over the place too. It's crap! It took a REALLY long time for my cycles to regulate after coming off the pill when we were ttc first time, maybe it's something similar after giving birth? Although all you hear is that your so fertile after giving birth..I'm so disheartened already. Isla is 6 months now and I was hoping for not much more than a years gap. Have a feeling it's gonna take a long time this time round too :(

Xx

Hi as ur over 35 things get more difficult in the % stakes or so they say anyhow they say our eggs ain't all that over 35 and probably only 8 out of 12 eggs are able to be fertilised or summet like that and as the yrs pass that % gets a little bit worse , it's shit to be a woman sometimes ok for men and there swimmers hey :-/ I'm 40 and have been ttc nearly 2 with 3 losses under my belt :-( they say its bad luck and my age , FC it will happen soon for you xx

Hi Seb! Wow you are brave ttc again already! But then again I was hoping for 2 under 2 too. Would love to be pregnant again by xmas. Will need to get the soft cups out again!

Will see what the next few months bring. this is maybe what I get for falling so easily the first time

Hey Jojo. Sorry for all your losses. Hope you get a sticky soon!
Are losses more common for over 35's?

8 out of 12 eggs isnt too bad. Means only 4mnths of the year I wouldn't get pregnant. Or thats how I am going to look at it anyway

Baby dust to us all! xxx

So they say yes the risks get higher over35 and then start to increase slowly the older ya get which is depressing reading through the statistics , just gotta keep hold of that hope for happy outcome and that it will happen soon :) xx

If u caught easily first time then hopefully your chances are good next time. I'm sure ur cycles will even out again. My first few cycles after giving birth I only had a 7 day then 8 day luteal phase (it was 10 or 11 days before) so my body is doing a similar thing :( xx

I got terribly upset with an online % counter that told me that at my age (43) I only had a 5% chance of becoming pregnant.............then I did it again at the age I conceived LO and it was 5% again!!!

So there is hope!!

And lesson learnt not to look at silly % things!!
