Curved placenta

Has anyone ever experienced a circumvallate placenta At a specialist 13 week scan the dr who was doing my scan mentioned I have an anterior placenta and a circumvallate placenta he mentioned about premature labor And different things like smaller baby’s with a curved placenta. the scan was to check for gastroschisis (how ever you spell it) as it was mentioned at my 12 week scan - where they ruled that out... I’m 17yrs old and turning 18 on the 28th of this month is it because of my age? Any experiences of the curved placenta xx

Hey, I had an anterior placenta but not the other one. All went well and had a healthy 6lb1oz girl at full term.

I have heard of it but don't have any personal experience with a circumvallate placenta. I hope they will monitor you and your baby more closely as it can be more high risk. Good luck x
