I'm breastfeeding exclusively and my 3 mo son has always refused bottles- after a massive push of trying really hard with expressed breast milk from 4 weeks we finally gave up around 10 weeks. Tried lots of different bottles and teats but he either gagged and choked (ending up with terrible wind) or just screamed at the sight of them. Whilst I love breastfeeding I would love to have a break every now and then and I should have been back at work this month (although I'm secretly relieved to have put that on hold for a bit longer!) A few people have mentioned the idea of giving him expressed milk in a cup. Is he old enough yet? And what kind of cup? Is there a clever way I can introduce it to him?
Thanks :) xx

I have expressed milk to my daughter in a doidy cup and it worked great. A bit messy to start with but she got the idea quickly.

Yes look for a doidy cup.

You or another adult will still have to hold it for him but it should work well.

My daughter drank EBM from a doidy occasionally from around 4 months.
