hey girls, went for a 3d scan today (monster was difficult and wouldn't show his face as he was covering it with his hand whilst wilfully sucking his thumb!) Anyhoo, the long and short of it is he's measuring big for my dates at 28 + 1 instead of 26 + 4 so i think i'll just come in here a few days early cos i may as well, lol! also hoping he turns in the next few weeks cos at the moment, he's breech, so what do i do?!

Dont worry about him being breech he could be that way until term and suddenly turn, dont panic till your in labour!!

Lucie's (HideiLu) little fella turned breech right at the last second and she was approaching 39 weeks!! So they CAN turn still

Hi,

I've measured all sorts throughout this pregnancy, from 1cm behind to 2cm ahead! Don't worry about him being breech he's still got loads of room in there and plenty of time to get head down.

don't worry about being in breech position at this stage. My MW said they don't have to be turned until about 36 weeks or so....in fact my LO only turned at 31 weeks.

Welcome My midwife thinks my little one is breech but she said she is not concerned until we get towards 34 weeks. My first son was breech too and the midwife showed me positions to sit in to get him to turn (on all fours sticking your bum in the air!)...it worked!!!!

hey, been away so had trouble getting online but back now! thanks for your replies, makes me feel better, sill scan lady! Lea m, keeping my dates the same i think, just big baby i guess, lol! at the scan on tuesday, he was guessed at weighing about 2.6 pounds so he's a healthy size that's for sure. We'll see, i have a middy appt on thursday. Been reading in here for a while and just seeing ppl entering here to giving birth makes it's seem very quick. anyhoo, better trot off but glad and scared at the same time to be in this tri.
