Cramping at 33 weeks

Hey lovely ladies ... been suffering with period like cramps for the past couple of days.

Anyone know if this is normal and does it actually mean anything? xx

It’s probably nothing but I would recommend you contact your maternity assessment unit and talk to them x

I got a ton of this from 30ish weeks on, worse with each pregnancy. Still went to my due date or past with each one! It was worse with walking a lot, too.

I didn’t ring maternity assessment as I don’t think it’s anything like labour pains.
It was more just uncomfortable.

Although saying that was in a lot of pain yesterday afternoon but think that was all due to position of baby.

There’s been no blood so will just monitor how things go xx

Wondering if it’s braxton hicks tightenings? Although they’re normally fairly painless. Perhaps baby is starting to engage? That can be pretty uncomfortable too. Just keep an eye and don’t be shy about phoning in if you need to x
