Because Albert sleeps with his feet up in the moses basket I didn't realise til last night that he's actually as long as the bloody mattress now . He was only half it's length when we bought him home . I feel terrible!

Anyway, we are looking for a cot for him but I have seriously no idea! Slats or bars? Vented mattress or sprung? I know I need a solid foot board cos he will want to put his feet up and I don't want his skinny little chopsticks hanging through the bars and I don't want bumpers if I can help it.

They are expensive and need to last so would rather choose the right one. Could you please let me know where you got yours, what one and what made you choose it? Fanking you very kindly ladies xxxxxxxxx

Is what we bought you can get both plus 2 cot sheets for £181 on amazon, it's a bit more expensive than when we bought but it's been just under a year since we bought ours, hope that helps.

I bought this one because of the dal, but if I had to buy again now I would as I love it, I chose a cot bed because it will last for a couple of years at least and the mattress I bought as it had the best reviews.
Xxxx

We have th boori georgina as well pinkyprincess except in White... Love it! So I'll second that babybrain xx

Aaawwwww I love the sleigh beds but our bedroom is 9ft by 7ft and we've already got the double bed in there so they are too big :( Gutted!

Thanks ladies xxxxxx

I have the m&p Rialto cot bed. I got it in the set with the wardrobe and drawers.

The mattress was a 100 scoobies premium spacetec sprung one from mothercare.

I think it's better to get springs if you are going to use it as a cotbed because springs last longer

i got the cheapest one ikea does and the 2nd cheapest mattress cos im skinted

That's what I was going to do! but cos my little brother's stroppy girlfriend wants Alberts old clothes for her baby (lots of which are brand new), and I said no cos I was going to sell them. mum said she'd buy us a new cot cos it's still cheaper than clothing her next grandson  so I get to choose :)

I got a mamas and papas cotbed, tallboy and blanket box off ebay for £250 and then a mattress off Amazon that got great reviews and was only forty quid half price in the Jan sales. There are bargains to be had!!

I got mamas and papas vico furniture set, lovely White furniture- perfect, and cossato sprung hypoallergenic mattress. For safety I think it's important to buy the best you can afford.

We are looking at this one as I've fallen in love with it lol, and as a mini cot bed it won't last quite so long but it will fit in the space and I can get a new mattress. And as Nanny and Nandad are paying..........:D
