Question for all Mums with 2+ kids!

What did your second baby weigh? I’ve read that second babies tend to be bigger but boys generally more than girl. My son was born 41+3 weighing 7lb 9 and I’m now pregnant with a little girl. Wondering if I should skip newborn sizes all together if she’s likely to be bigger or if it’s a load of rubbish?

My 1st was 41+4wks and 7lbs 1oz, 2nd 40+2wks and 7lbs 6oz, 3rd was 37+5wks and 6lbs 1oz. 3rd was induced and the other 2 spontaneous, all boys. Currently 35+5wks with a girl and growth scans estimate a similar size to my 2nd baby. I'm still taking just newborn/first size clothes as they are for up to 10lbs so unless your expecting a really big baby this time newborn should fit

Most newborn sizes seem to be up to 7lbs 8oz and up to 1 month 10lbs. I have 5 newborn suits and then 10 up to 1 month, I'll bring a selection of each x

Baby 1 8lbs 8 girl born at 40+1
Baby 2 10lbs 1 boy born at 40+1
Baby 3 9lbs 6 boy born at 39+4
Baby 4 being induced tomorrow, is a girl expected to be over 9 lb judging by growth scans

Maybe I need to look at the sizing of the stuff I have then lol think I have newborn, first and up to 1m together :)

My 1st baby was 7lbs 8.6, at 40+2.

My second was predicted to be a 9/10lber - she was born at 39+4 weighing 8lbs 1oz.

My third baby was predicted to be small, he was 8lbs 5oz at 39+1

I found Next newborn goes up to 7lbs 8oz, but most other newborn clothes are 9/10lbs.
