conceiving while on the bcp

Hi everyone just a quick question. I miscarried at 12 weeks in march and made the decision to go on the bcp bc I wasn't ready to ttc and my relationship had become unstable but I recently had intercourse (Monday). My period was due thursday and I still have not got my period nor do I have any cramping. I was just wondering can the bcp delay ovulation sometimes instead of preventing it?? I recently been on anntibiotics which I know can cause the bcp to be ineffective. If anyone has any answers or suggestions or comments, pls let me know. Thank you so much.
