Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has suffered from or is suffering from coccyx/tail bone pain?

My pain has got progressively worse over the past few weeks (end of 2nd tri, start of 3rd tri) - it makes me think it will progressively become unbearable. The pain is on my left side, really low down on my back (just above my bum really). It now twinges almost every time I put weight on my left leg - so when I am walking or standing. Once I've walked for a little while it does relive itself somewhat but then once I have rested, got up again, it will twinge.

I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried different stretches but can never seem to stretch out that area. I'm not sure if my bump is in the way but stretching is certainly uncomfortable nowadays.

I would appreciate any advice seeing as I still have a number of weeks left, 10 of which I am still full time at work. Is there anything I can do to relieve it?

I would go and see your doctor - they will
Peobebabl refer you for physio. I have cocyx all the time (long running issue) so I've had to learn how to deal with it and what positions I cannot in so it doesn't hurt etc.

My coccyx is so painful, sometimes after exercise, sometimes just after bending down. It does seem to be getting worse, I'm going to speak to my midwife about it.. Last night in bed I tried to roll over and got stuck because it hurt so badly, thank god hubby was there to roll me lol

I have been having a lot of coccyx pain for the past 4-5 weeks. Sometimes even from sitting to standing the pain is horrible and I struggle to get off the sofa etc x

Hi I was recommended to see a chiropractor by my midwife for a similar issue and glad I did, found out today my sacrum isn't rotating properly and is causing all sorts of side effects including sciatica. Going back on Friday to start my treatment plan, worth thinking about x
