co codamol?

co-codamol is just normal paracetamol- AND also codeine. codeine is an opioid (same class of drug as heroin, morphine etc. and diamorphine- what they give women in labour- which is actually pure heroin  )

it is only really not recommended in late third trimester, because the baby can be born (at worst) addicted and have to go thru withdrawal :( or just drowsy. also not really in first tri because thats when baby is forming and highest risk of defects from outside influences. but at ur stage should be fineeee.

i am no pharmacist tho so dont take my word as gospel! if ur worried check with the pharmacist again

I had it in the early stages and late stages of pregnancy prescribed by my obgyn consultant :D

My doc prescribed them for me when I was having pregnancy headaches. Also took loads early on when pg with my son (before I knew I was) and then had them late on for early labour pains. Nothing at all wrong with him, so hope that's reassurance for you

they are fine under dr's orders, if you are really worried call the surgery and double check
