Clomid & TTC

How long after taking clomid are you expected to conceive?

any personal stories/tales about the drug girlies?

Well some concieve the first month, but I think it's about 3 or 4 months. Trouble is they don't let you keep taking them after 6 months on them. I'm on my first cycle with clomid, I'll find out Monday whether it worked first time with me, I doubt it though. I'm sure I did ovulate cos I had what I though was ov pain about a week and 9-11 days ago , since then I had cramps on and off for the past week and my nipples are sore. Are you going to be taking them MabyMummy?

yeps, had my progesterone blood test back today & im not ovulating which is odd as i had positive opks with clearblue digital

Thats strange. I'd go by the blood test. But then you may just not ovulate every month, some people don't. Have you been refered to the gynie. I was and it has taken 4 months to get where i am now, and before they put you on clomid OH probably has to have a sperm analyisis done, cos there's no point giving you drugs if OH fires blanks. been with the gynae for 2 years now,most of it not fertility issues. Ive had a laparoscopy & that was fine, its just the ovaries, been told if the second blood test is the same they'll give me clomid without testing oh because ive been so problamatic if you get me.

need to add its only taken about 2 months since telling my gynae im ttc. He arranged the blood straight away

its a long story & very compliated but the other problems are the route of problem ttc, but hey, im doing something about it & its getting sorted, thats all that matters
