Well I've been. I have 1 follicle at about 11. The doctor said the problem is my lining is really thin so he doesn't think I would fall pregnant even if the follicle amounts to anything.

He has asked me to go to my GP and ask to be referred to his clinic because if I were his patient he would have prescribed me with estrogen tablets to make my lining thicker and up my clomid dose next month.

Not all bad news because he said the follicle could keep going as it's still early at CD10 but then what's the point if my lining is too thin for an implantation? I'm sure normally at this time in my cycle I wouldn't have had any follicles.

Maybe the thin lining is the problem? I'd definitely see it as a good thing as you got some answers. It's good that you've not over-responded too. Clomid seems to suit you and that dose as well. I agree that oestrogen would help. I'll be on it for my FET. Xx

He said he wasn't sure whether the follicle would do anything and he'd like it to be a bit bigger but he did say it's still early in the cycle.

Couldn't see any bleeding or where the pain was from so I'm just going to take that the pain was my follicle growing? I have no idea lol

Might complain to my patient service at the hospital about lack of monitoring etc.

I also had a thin lining (and no follicles) on my first scan but several days later my lining was thicker and a follicle had grown, so you could just be a slower responder like me. Are you going for a rescan?

I'd go and ask the nhs docs for more monitoring.

Can you get an extra scan this cycle?

Also a higher dose of clomid thins the lining more.

No no rescan. I'm going to monitor with OPKs & the 21day blood test. He did say the clomid thins the lining.

I said to oh that by the time ov time comes, both should be bigger & thicker so time will tell. I definitely feel pain on that right side so there's something happening I guess.

I doubt I would have a follicle so early on without the clomid!

No chance of the NHS monitoring me. My hospital is shit. Booked an appointment for my GP to refer me to the clinic I went to today & contemplating a letter of complaint to the hospital. They should be monitoring and it's a short fall in their care that they aren't bothered one bit!

Hey sugar,

I've been there done that with the shi** nhs they were trying to convince me my chemical pregnancies weren't real until I had a nice young female gp at my local surgery who took my bloods to prove the pregnancies were 'real'.

Just go with the flow now and do cd21's 7 days after your LH surge.

Yeah, it looks like they do not have a good record doesn't it in some places!!

So, I did my first OPK this cycle this morning. It was a digital one so ofcourse I got a O on it. Will do it again this afternoon just to see. My question is, when is it normal to ovulate on clomid? I'm CD11 today.

I've been looking at my old threads and so far I've found a month where I ov'd on cd 23.

I'll find my post from my little boys pregnancy and bump it for you.

Just found another where it was 14 so that's 2 now.

I'm CD 13 today and my opk is looking darker so maybe this will be the day of my surge.

Hi Sugar, I've ovd on CDs 17, 18, 18, 17, 24, 18 and 17 on my clomid cycles. I have heard of others oving earlier. I took clomid on days 2-6 on the first 5 cycles and 3-7 on the last two (as my af started later on in the day I decided to start clomid a day later).

I have found info about follicle sizes and apparently they grow 1-2mm every 48hrs so IF it's going to work it could take up to another week. I will do my day 21 test but will also do another from my OPKs show something different (if they do!)

Going to ring the hospital when I've had bloods and ask can I up the medication and have a scan during the cycles. I thought maybe they do monitor the 100mg so time will tell I guess?

Just got my 1st high fertility on my clear blue digital OPK! Whoop! Will try and test 3 times a day now to make sure I don't miss it!

Good luck sugarpop. I'm 2dpo, no symptoms of any kind. I wish there was one massive sign this early on just so you know one way or the other. I know we all feel that! Just so frustrating haha
