Isabella is going through a very clingy stage almost shy when we are out - is this normal?
I think you just get kids that are more shy than others.
Tia has always been quite clingy and shy when we go out... although she does come out of herself quite quickly... it was worse when she was smaller, although as a baby she was very sociable and happy, just preferred mummy cuddles... but around about 18 months she became more clingy But it's perfectly normal... often children who are getting older realise that you are doing less for them, and feel afraid as they are expected to do things on their own. Their way to counteracting that is to become clingy... but its totally normal...
I was quite shy as a child. I try to socialise her as much as possible so didnt know whether it was just a phase?
Maybe she senses another LO on the way? Congrats on the TTC BTW
Stanley has just started this too, but I think it conincides with him starting nursery. It may well be just a phase. Shyness isn't hereditary but it can be learned so it's fab you make an effort for him to socialise. Are you a shy adult?
Im very social and love meeting my mummy friends with the kids. I take her to Jo Jingles on a Monday, my mum takes her to a mother & toddler group on a Wednesday and then on Friday I take her to a different mother & toddler group. I usually meet up with other friends on the Tuesday or Thursday. I was wondering whether Im to social???? and it is putting her in the shadow??
