Clear blue conception indicators????

Hi girls, just a quick question, has anyone ever had an experience where their clear blue digi said one thing and their scan said another??? Or it has said 1-2 weeks and it should of been 2-3, 3+ just asking for a friend of mine who was with a girl who is now preggers ( she is a complete cow and a liar) but she was sleeping with a married guy also so he's not 100% sure it's his! She was heard sayin to her friend "it can't be his ( other guys) can it? Now this sounds like she's not sure herself, also my friend has asked for a paternity when the child is born but has heard that she won't have it done, she just says when it comes out lookin like him he'll just have to admit it's his. Amy thoughts on this would be much appreciated xxx

The conception indicator is a VERY rough estimate. You have to do them in the morning or they can be out. They work on averages so if you have above or below average HCG, it might not be very accurate. Scan's are MUCH more accurate and you would definitely go off that before a simple POAS test

As Mervs Mum said, scans are SO much more accurate. hCG levels vary massively in early pregnancy, so the conception indicator tests really aren't particularly accurate unless you're close to the middle of the range for your stage of pregnancy

These tests are rough although the one i took were more accurate than my dating scan - we knew exact time of conception. The only way to be 100% is to do a paternity test - sounds like she is going to hurt a few people, but needs to make up for it by agreeing to test when babe is born!

He overheard her say to her friend "it can't be his can it ?" meaning other guy and a mutual friend of mine and this girl has told me that she's not going to have the test! My friend has never denied it's his just wants to know 100% that it is his. Can he insist on a test? Just wondered why she would deny the test if she was so sure! Just guess I'm getting my hopes up for him he's a really great guy who has been a bot foolish but she seems not to care who she hurts !

If she's openly admitted to sleeping with both and won't take a paternity test I would certainly be questioning why

Thanks mamafy that's what I thought, just loads of other things that really don't add up to! I know through another mutual friend that she did a test in June to this married guy, and then one in July to my friend so basically that's two tests in one month to two guys!!! Just somethin doesn't add up!!

Women can get pregnant at any time during the month although most women have more fertile periods, i have two aunts who conceived days after their period, so a paternity test is the only way. She obviously has some doubt and it is only fair on everyone that the paternity is sorted out as early as possible. These situations make me so cross, if you were going to have an affair surely you'd use some form of contraception errrrrrr! I'm the product of an affair and my dad (not biologically) brought me up all my life and never treated me any differently - but although we don't know 100% whos i am its not a nice thing for anyone parent or child to have hanging over them.

Def not, which is why my friend just wants to know for sure that this baby is his! The really other sad thing is that the other married guy who she slept with, his wife is pregnant and doesn't know anything about his affair with this girl! Why do girls like this keep on doing this? All she ever wanted was a child but such a wrong way to go about it!! Thanks for your thoughts x
