Chart Stalkers January 2008

Chrissy that is great :cheer:  you must be so pleased you went! Its a shame you've missed the early cycle test but at least you know you will get them next cycle. Really pleased for you!

Loola glad you are feeling better and great news about the weight loss.

babydust how are you feeling today?

Trudy weird cramps sound good  and another rise today :cheer:

ROM do you think you're getting close to ov?

hello to everyone else

well I had an almost surge on my OPK's yesterday afternoon but it was lighter when I tested at 7pm. My temps stayed low today so I assume I will ov today. What I don't understand is that my ewcm has all but dried up :( just a tiny bit this morning yet loads yesterday morning and Monday. Maybe my cervix has gone into shock after being poked during my smear

HI All,

Babydust    sorry about the shingles.

Chrissy - :cheer: that the doc is testing you.

Hi  to everyone else.

Well I had an upset yesterday. My DH is in hospital with pneumonia. But there were no beds available (apparently very unusual here) and so he has had to spend all night in the waiting ward. He has a bed but it is all kinda makeshift. :( So I was at the hospital till 11pm after my first day of kids for the year. I am so tired this morning. Had to get up at 4:40 to get to work and then to the hospital. He has to stay for 3 days as they are giving him anti-biotics intravenously. Awful.

ANyway, sorry to be a drama queen again!

My temp was 98.16 at 4:40 so FF adjusted it to 98.46

Not sure how accurate this is! But I hope it's a good indication. I am feeling totally spacey (could be tired and cause of DH) but keep doing silly things. Also have sore boobs. Hmm I haven't symptom spotted for a while.

Will update later.

OMG Sookie! you are not being a drama queen at all! Id be absolutely shitting myself if my OH had pneumonia. Really hope he gets better soon hun. You must feel so stressed. Your temps are looking great though hun, hopefully there will be some good news for you at the end of this cycle, your symptoms sound promising too.

Trudy - your chart is looking fab! Are you gonna test on 10DPO? Fingers crossed hun

CB23 - Hope you are BDing loads! :cheer:

Kitty - I have my fingers firmly crossed for you!

Who has possible symptoms then?

Why is it some months I get loads of possible symptoms and then the next month nothing? Last month my boobs absolutely killed after ovulation and I had cramping about a week after ovulation. Obviously I didnt get a BFP. I do wonder if symptoms are all in my head sometimes as last month I was hoping even more than ever for a BFP as it would have been on my birthday. I can put all my symptoms down to other reasons in retrospect of course. Im beginning to think that having no symptoms is more promising.

Has anyone else had problems with their CM drying up before ov?

Sookie I hope your OH is OK.

***** Update *******

Just rang my docs and because I am in the first bit of my cycle (CD6) they can still do the test....basically they need on before OV and after so I've got an appointment tomorrow :cheer: :cheer:

I've never used pre-seed because quite frankly I create enough of my own EWCM and 'lady love juices' that I think if I tried using a lubricant as well that DH would just keep slipping out.. :rotfl:

Sookie - Hope your DH gets well soon

Loola - I'm with you on the symptom thing.... I think the more I look for them the more I manage to convince myself that every symptom is caused by something else......which up to yet they have been!! but seeing as I've had every symptom in the book over the past 8 months it's time to start thinking that if I DON'T get symptoms then that would be a good sign!

Chrissy - Thats excellent news!! Good luck hun!

Im with you on the 'slipping out' thing too! A couple of months ago that did actually happen  :rotfl:

great - and now I just managed to pee on the window of my OPK and its the only one I have at work

No not testing til day 14. Definitely not no way. :shakehead: Well not unless I can find a IC lurking at the back of my draws. I'm soooo broke. Can afford to waste money on pg test so will wait till pay day (next Weds) then see. I'm praying it keeps rising.

Chrissy - great news about your test.

Sookie - hope DH gets back on his feet soon. Try not to worry too much.

 Babydust.
 Sookie.
Sorry you are having a hard time of it!

Chrrisy - its good news about the docs - I guess you feel a huge sense of relief that something is being done to help you now.

CB23 - Oh Bugger!!!

FX Trudy.

Loola - hope no news is good news (in relation to symptoms!)

 everyone else!

Hmmm, well I dont really know whats up with me at the minute. I had pains in my left side yesterday and the spotting I had for the past two days seemed to be mixed in with stretchy CM.....I have had partial ferning on my microscope for days and because of these 2 reasons I did an OPK yesterday. Ive never used them before, but I got a faint line on it. I know it says that it should be as dark as the control line but not having used them before, Im not sure if Im one of those people who gets faint lines all the time on them or whether a faint line for me is a positive, guess ill just have to wait and see. Temps gone back up a bit this a.m. Not really sure what to think at the moment?

sorry about your dh sookie hope he gets better soon
:cheer: for sore (.)(.)

good news chrissy that thing are starting to get seen to, i bet u get a bfp this month before you are seen :rotfl:

trudy sounds good, you could always get tests from the pound shop :D
loola  well done for loosing 6lb i posted the fertile aid today so you should get it tomorrow or friday but you need to wait until cd1 to use it

rom hopefully not too long until ov, then you can start symptom spotting :D

cb23 :wall:

i still have some pre seed here if anyone wants it i was going to give it to bagpuss but she got her bfp before i could post it :rotfl: i really think this is what helped me get a bfp its the only thing i did different apparently its a lube but swimmers can survive longer in it than ewcm, dont know what evidence there is but it was worth a try i thought

I am feeling not to bad today i keep waiting to be ill with it, unless its still to come, the girls woke up today with temp and runny nose so time will tell.

Awww thanks Babydust! You are a gem. :D

Im gonna have so many parcels arriving at my house soon!! :cheer: Ive got fertile aid tablets from you, fertility tests from Bagpuss, a new BBT thermometer as the display on my current one keeps disappearing and Ive bought 4 items of clothing from ebay. Its better than Christmas! :cheer:

Hope the shingles arent going to make you too poorly or the girls for that matter. :( Absolutely the last thing you need in early pregnancy.

Hi all

Sookie, hope your OH feels better soon

And you of course, babydust

Chrissy, excellent news about your doctors visit, I'm glad they are getting on with the tests quickly :D

CB, I always found that I never really got EWCM :( Or at least not that I noticed. I think the pre-seed really helped with that though :D

FXed for all those in the 2ww

Hello everyone

I have now 3/4 days until af is due, Im desperately trying not to symptom spot but its so hard when Im so close, i dont want to convince myself Im pg but I havent had any af symptoms at all this month. Im usually moody and craving chocolate and Im not, its weird

Shower me with babydust pleaaaase

Hi guys. Thanks for all your messages of support. I really look forward to checking in with you all everyday. Am I sad or what?!

Well DH is much better. It has been a bloody palava though as they had no rooms available and had him waiting in emergency observation for more than 24 hours. Now though he is settled in a suite and I have come home for some shut-eye. Which is what I am about to do.

 your temps are all behaving and that I get another good rise tomorrow! I want a triphasic!!!!

Kitty's not been on here today? I hope you're ok Kitty.

Babydust  Hope shingles clear up really soon.

And  s for all of you!

Morning girls  How is everyone?

Sookie - I am really excited about your chart at the mo, its looking really promising! Hope those hight temps stay high! Glad your DH is getting better.

ROM - Hope you are getting ready to do lots of BDing hun!

Kitty - your chart is still looking good lady! Any signs or symptoms?

Trudy - Another exciting chart!! Hope those temps stay up for you too

CB23 - Do you think you have ovulated yet?

Hope everyone else is ok?

Well FF still havent given me and ovulation date on my chart even though my temps have been elevated for some time now. Meh! so Im keeping override on for another day.

I feel a bit queasy today. Ive also been constipated for the last 4 days but really gassy  but Im pretty sure that happens every month after ovulation so Im not really symptom spotting. I had heart burn when I woke up this morning too which I thought was a bit odd and I am SO TIRED. I was knackered all day yesterday and I am again today and seeing as I was in bed at 9.50pm (I usually dont go to bed til midnight) that is pretty strange. I must not symptom spot though dammit! It only leads to disappointment.

Hmmm its quiet on here today...where is eveyone?!

I met up with some friends last night.....I think I've mentionned that one of my friends (helpfully!) announced her preg around the time I got AF (not her fault I know but )....anyway she wasnt there last night but obv eveyone was discussing it, how exciting it is etc etc, but then it turned into a discussion about babies in general and how people felt about having kids and one friend was going one about how her Mum had told her that once you decide you want a baby its all you can think about and it takes over your life and you cant think about anything else at all.....None of them know we are ttc at the moment as I know that everytime I saw them they'd be asking 'are you?' and I know how much it would stress me out! but I was sitting there politely just nodding and smiling and agreeing and inside I was like  :wall:  :wall:  :wall: and screaming "YOU GUYS JUST DONT GET IT!!!....They all seemed to think it was pretty funny people getting obsessed, but most of them are younger than me and some arent even in relationships let alone married and so they really arent at the same life stage as me......I dont think anyone understands ttc until they do it! Its like, when youre little you just think oh Ill get married and have x amount of kids....I dont think anyone thinks about how much effort ttc actually can be!

(ooh sorry for the rant!)

Hi all,

Sookie - gosh, your poor DH - hope he makes a quick recovery. Hmm, not enough beds, eh? Sounds like the UK... Hope you manage some sleep, and that you don't catch his pneumonia.

Babydust - hope you make a quick recovery too, and that your girls don't develop chicken pox. I had it when I was about 3 or 4, and the one thing I really remember was it itching like crazy - my mother sewed me some little mittens so that I wouldn't scratch, with a thumb-hole cut out of the right mitten so I could still suck my thumb! :rotfl: She sewed matching ones for my teddy bear too... not sure I'd go to that much effort!

Chrissy - really pleased your doctor's visit went well - bet you're glad you persevered with the charting now  Do let us know what tests you have and how they go - I think I might be in for the same ones in a month's time :?

Everyone else - There are too many charts to stalk and I've lost track of where everyone is, so if you'd like some stalking, please will you flag it up?!

Meanwhile I haven't been on much just because I'm feeling a bit depressed about it all. Going by my temps, I'd still feel hopeful, but the spotting has continued, just like last cycle only it started earlier. I've so had enough of the constant drip... drip... drip. I feel like a leaky tap. It's not on the liner, just pretty much every time I wipe. We're only 24 days into 2008, and I've had bleeding on 13 of those days. :wall: I can't go swimming, obviously, and I can't go for a run in case AF starts whilst I'm out. There's nowhere near enough to use a tampon (and besides, tampons hurt so much I can only use them when I have heavy flow). I just want to be normal again, and have my normal life back. I'm starting to get worried - my mother had a hysterectomy at 39 because she was bleeding 3 out of every 4 weeks...

As for symptoms, I don't have enough energy to symptom-spot :(

Sorry this is such a miserable post

Aww Kitty  Why dont you go and see a Doctor to put your mind at rest?

Kitty, sorry you are feeling down  - I think the January blues have a lot to answer for as eveyone seems a bit low at the moment!

I had the spotting last month avfter ovulation for about a week before AF - seemed like forever, I was hopeful that it was IB at first, but it was not to be for me.....I have just put it down to it being a weird cycle and am trying to have a positive attitude this month (although i have to admit thats not going well so far!). I think that is what made me decide to chart again.

Please try not to worry about what happened with your Mum....I know thats easier said than done but everyone is different and Im sure it won't be the same for you

thanks...

It's just that the last 3 cycles have all been weird, and I keep hoping the next will be normal.

I will see the doctor next week - he told me to come back after the next full cycle, i.e. after the period that finishes this cycle. It's just that once again, I'm wondering what constitutes a period - last time I thought I was still waiting for AF to come when I found I was ovulating!

I suspect I'm feeling miserable because it's PMS. But I've had cramps for the past 4 days too, and backache, and feeling nauseous... If I didn't have the spotting, I'd be hoping they were good signs, as it is, they all suggest AF is coming early this month

Anyway - Choklatemunky, I did read your 'rant' and I sympathise  The TTC thing does take over your life. I'm seriously thinking of taking a break from TTC, just to see if this bloody spotting goes away and I can have some semblance of normality back.
