Change in plans

I had a phone call from my ante natal guy this morning.

He has decided that with my liver problem he wants to do a c section instead of natural birth. He also wants to move the birth forward (but I won't know when until I see him on Monday), and he wants me to leave work a couple of weeks early and finish end of next week!

Talk about changing my plans.

Sounds great if you ask me.. I like plans that change for the better... Not only do you stop working early, but you get to have your baby sooner... and lets face it.. Having a baby is far more interesting than being pregnant.

Thats good then isn't it? You sem to be getting a good level of care anyway. You wanted a section didn't you?

It's good in alot of ways, but it was the shock of it. We've still got lots to do in the house to be ready, so no more rest for the wicked and I had wanted to experience a natural birth, not a c section. Unfortunately I know it will be the safer thing for me and the baby, so I half expected that part. It was the rest I hadn't expected
