Ideally going off the books would did cd 9 in am give you a chance of getting a girl if positive opk was cd 13?
Or do you think it's bit of a time gap?

Sperm can live up to 5 days in extreme cases but most live 1-3 days, so there is a small chance but BDing nearer OV would be much more optimal, I realise it's not always possible though.

I wasnt doing OPKs or anything so cant be sure when OV was but had regular 28 day cycles and I got pregnant from sex CD 10 (am) with DD so quite possibly a similar time line. I got pregnant from sex the day of my positive OPK with DS.

I'd say if you care more about having the best chance at a girl than getting pregnant quick its worth a try but if you want to have a better chance of getting pregnant it would be better to dtd closer to OV.
