when i had my first son i was mid labour when they had to call in a consultant. I had an internal check done and the consultant said i had scarring on 1 side of my cervix which was preventing me from dialating properly and so i needed a c-section. To be honest i dont remember much of my labour, it was horrific. but i remember this as he asked me if i had been abused! 
I did mention this to my regular G.P when i first went to him about my fertility. But he passed it off and nothing more was said. I have asked a nurse if she could see anything during a smear test but said she couldnt....i was just wondering would this affect my chances of concieving?? Im going to see a gynea at my local hospital im just waiting for the referal. But wonder in the mean time if any ladies had been in this or a similar situation?
